Marco is one of the best domestiques in circulation. He especially loves the northern races, and he made his mark during his first years as a professional for his talents on the walls in the Ronde Van Vlaanderen and in Paris-Roubaix, which he considers the most difficult race in the world. Discreet and quiet, Marco is one of the worker bees on the team. His hobbies include all aspects of technology and cooking—so much so that one of his dreams is to open a small gourmet restaurant in the future.

A REWARDING TRAINING CAMP IN CALPE

Today Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team wrapped up their first training camp. On the roads of Calpe and the climbs surrounding this lovely Spanish community, our riders covered about 850 kilometres over 6 training sessions.
